Do I need to open the app to start a trip?

No. Once you grant Always location and Motion & Fitness permissions, Milo detects and logs your drives automatically in the background — just drive.

Why does Milo need “Always” location?

Automatic background drive detection requires it. Milo only records while you’re actually driving, and everything stays on your device.

Is there a subscription?

No. Milo is a one-time purchase. Tracking and classifying are free; a single unlock adds report export, auto-classification rules, multiple vehicles, and the actual-expense method.

How do I export a tax report?

Open the Reports tab, pick the year, and export a PDF or CSV. Reports are designed to support IRS / HMRC / CRA recordkeeping.

Is Milo tax advice?

No. Figures are estimates based on your logged drives and the applicable mileage rate. Please consult a qualified tax professional.

How do I export or delete my data?

Settings → Privacy → Export all data / Delete everything.
