How do I score a match?

Tap Quick Match, enter the teams, the toss and the overs, then start. Tap a run, an extra (Wd / NB / Bye / LB), or Wicket for each ball — CricVerse handles strike rotation, the over track and the required run rate. Undo is always one tap away.

Can I track individual players?

Yes. In a tournament, open the Teams tab and add each team’s squad. When you score, you’ll pick the openers and bowler, choose the new batter when a wicket falls, and the new bowler each over. That powers real batting cards, bowling figures, fielding credit, leaderboards and the MVP.

How do tournaments and knockouts work?

Create teams, put them into groups, and play a round-robin — standings update live using points, then Net Run Rate, then head-to-head. When the group stage finishes, choose Auto (a quarter-final, semi-final or straight final seeds itself) or Custom, where you hand-pick the first-round matchups. Winners advance automatically to the final.

If I reinstall the app, do I lose my data?

No — as long as you’re signed in to iCloud. Your matches, tournaments and stats sync to your own private iCloud, so reinstalling the app or setting up a new device restores everything automatically. Everything also works fully offline.

Is there a subscription?

No. CricVerse is a one-time purchase. Unlimited quick matches and your first tournament are free; a single unlock adds unlimited tournaments. No subscription, ever.

How is the MVP / Player of the Match decided?

By a clear all-rounder score that rewards runs, boundaries, strike rate, wickets, economy and fielding dismissals — so the best contribution across batting, bowling and fielding wins.
