Who we are
ClearSpace ("the app", "we", "us") is a photo-cleanup utility for iOS that helps you find and remove duplicate, blurry, and screenshot photos and large videos to free up storage. This policy explains how the app handles your information.
Data we collect
None. ClearSpace does not collect personal data. Specifically:
- We do not have servers, and your photos and videos are never uploaded anywhere.
- We do not require an account, sign-in, or any personal information.
- We do not include third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
- We do not track you across apps or websites.
Photo library access
To do its job, ClearSpace asks your permission to access your photo library. This access is used solely to analyze your photos and videos on your device — to detect duplicates, blurry images, screenshots, and large videos, and to delete the items you choose. The analysis happens locally using Apple's on-device frameworks. No photo, video, thumbnail, or analysis result is ever sent off your device.
When you delete items, the deletion is performed through iOS, which shows its own confirmation prompt. You are always in control of what is removed.
Purchases
ClearSpace offers a one-time, non-subscription in-app purchase ("ClearSpace Pro") to unlock unlimited bulk deletion. Purchases and restores are handled entirely by Apple's App Store and StoreKit. We never receive or store your payment details. Apple's handling of transactions is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Children's privacy
ClearSpace does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
Data retention & security
Because we never collect or transmit your data, there is nothing for us to retain or expose. All app data and settings remain on your device under iOS's standard protections.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above.
